Pakistan lost to Ireland by 5 wickets in the first T20 of the three-match series. However, in the second match, they got a victory in Daput. In this match, Babar Azmara topped the Irish’s target of 194 runs in 16.5 overs. But even in this victory, Pakistan may not have got full satisfaction. The reason for that could be the poor bowling of the Pakistani pacers.

A team like Ireland beating Pakistan’s bowlers to score 193 runs seems a bit unusual. With world-class pacers like Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Mohammad Amir bowling, how did the Irish get the score close to two hundred?

Former cricketer of the country, Ramiz Raja, did not like such rough bowling of Pak pacers. Even after winning the match, he did not delay to wash the pacers.

On his YouTube channel, Rameez Raja fears that if the Irish could have caught the catches of Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan, then maybe Pakistan would have lost this match as well.

According to Ramiz Raja, ‘They gave 200 runs (closer to 200 runs) against Ireland and it looked like our bowlers were behind. If they could have caught Rizwan and Zaman, it would have been difficult for Pakistan to chase down the target.

Raja also said, “If Pakistan’s top bowlers give so many runs against Ireland, the condition of the team will deteriorate in the future.” Pakistan’s strength and success depend on the bowlers. Especially the pacers. They have not been doing well since the World Cup in India last year. The first two balls are good and the next three balls are very bad. It makes the situation difficult.’

However, Rizwan and Fakhar won the match on Sunday. Rizwan made 75 off 46 balls and Fakhar made 78 off 40 balls. That’s why Rameez Raja thinks that if the Irish had not missed the catches of Rizwan and Fakhar, then Pakistan would have lost.

Shaheen Afridi is bowling the worst in this match. This left-handed pacer gave 49 runs in 4 overs. Cost 12.25 per over. Another pacer Amir is spending 11 runs per over. Amir’s total cost is 44 runs in 4 overs.
