Bangladeshi Mohammad Aziz Khan has been named in Forbes’ list of global billionaires this year as well

Bangladeshi businessman Mohammad Aziz Khan has been named in the list of global billionaires made by the American magazine Forbes this year. Forbes released this list of billionaires on Wednesday. It shows the total number of billionaires in the world at 2,781, which is 141 more than last year. Among them, Aziz Khan’s position is 2545th.

 

According to Forbes, Aziz Khan’s net worth has increased to $1.1 billion by 2024. As 110 taka per dollar in Bangladesh currency which amounts to 12 thousand 100 crore taka. His net worth was $1 billion last year.

 

However, Aziz Khan’s name appeared in the Forbes list after listing his company Summit in Singapore, not from Bangladesh.

 

Aziz Khan was ranked 41st in Singapore’s Top 50 Richest List last year, according to Forbes. But this year it has come down to 50. However, at the time of writing this report at 9 pm on Wednesday, Aziz Khan’s position in the list of the world’s top billionaires in real time was slightly reduced to 2 thousand 579.

According to Forbes website about Aziz Khan, this Bangladeshi businessman is currently doing business and living in Singapore. He is the Chairman of Summit Group. The companies under this group are mainly doing business in power, energy, ports, fiber optics and real estate sectors.

 

Meanwhile, French fashion and retail businessmen Bernard and Arundel family is number one in the world’s richest list in 2024 according to Forbes. Their total assets stood at $233 billion, which was $211 billion last year. Elon Musk, the American businessman who owns Tesla and Space X, is in the second position. US businessman Jeff Bezos, the owner of the top e-commerce site Amazon, is in third place with a net worth of $194 billion. Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg is in fourth position with a net worth of $177 billion.

Warren Buffett, known as the investment guru, is sixth with $133 billion, Microsoft founder Bill Gates is seventh with $128 billion.

 

India’s famous businessman Mukesh Ambani is ranked 9th in the list of the world’s top billionaires. This year his net worth increased to $116 billion.
