Chinmoy Das Held for Treason, Not Community Leadership: Asif Mahmud

Chinmoy Krishna Das, the spokesperson of the United Sanatani Awakening Alliance, has been arrested on charges of treason, according to Youth and Sports Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan. Speaking on the matter, Asif Mahmud stated, “The government will take strict action against any activities that compromise Bangladesh’s sovereignty, independence, or dignity. Let it be clear—anyone involved in treason, no matter how prominent they are, will not be spared.”
He further emphasized, “Actions are taken not based on community affiliation but on the need to ensure the security of the state.” The advisor also mentioned that individuals attempting to create instability in Dhaka under the guise of protests are being apprehended as part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order.
