General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader congratulated the countrymen on the occasion of Bengali New Year-1431. In a video message on Sunday, he expressed hope for the beginning of a new chapter in the new year, saying that the fire of hatred should be spread against the politics of sectarianism, conspiracy and terror.

Awami League General Secretary said, the year has come again on the day of the festival of the life of Bengalis Pahela Boishakh. A new chapter will begin in the new year, every hour will be filled with the triumph of our dreams. We will overcome all challenges under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina and move forward to the golden horizon of achievement – this is today’s expectation.

Bangladesh Awami League as a people’s party wants to start a new journey in the new year with a new dedicated spirit of new hopes and expectations.

We pledge our party Bangladesh Awami League as a more orderly, well-organized, modern, smart political party to continue positive progress in fulfilling the dreams of the people of this country.

Awami League under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina must continue the unstoppable progress of development and prosperity. Learning from the mistakes of the past, we will continue to make our beloved organization Awami League stronger and faster on the path of development and progress.

Awami League is determined to spread the fragrance of non-communal spirit in the politics of Bangladesh by upholding the spirit of the liberation war. The fire of hatred must be spread against the politics of sectarianism, conspiracy and terror.
