Boishakhi Festival to Feature Children’s Art Competition
A vibrant Boishakhi Festival organized by Prothom Alo will take place at Chef’s Table Courtside, Madani Avenue, Bhatara, celebrating the spirit of the Bengali New Year with tradition, culture, and joy.
The event will include a variety of engaging activities, especially for children. Highlights feature an art competition, handwriting contest, and a fun “dress-as-you-like” segment. Visitors can also enjoy magic shows, origami and caricature sessions, puppet performances, storytelling, and a unique “parrot letter” attraction.
In addition, there will be a traditional fair atmosphere with rides like a Ferris wheel, classic childhood games, and themed areas inspired by local crafts such as blacksmith, pottery, and weaving communities. Cultural performances will further enrich the celebration.
The festival will be open to everyone from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
