The ongoing heatwave across the country will continue for a few more days. However, on Wednesday, the heatwave may reduce slightly in Chittagong and Sylhet, the Meteorological Department said.

According to the forecast of the organization, it may rain in different parts of the country today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Scattered hail may occur at some places.

According to the notification of the Directorate of Meteorology on Tuesday, mild to moderate heat waves are flowing over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions on Tuesday. This ongoing heat wave may continue. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

The heatwave situation over Chittagong and Sylhet divisions may ease on Wednesday. However, the ongoing heat wave may continue in other parts of the country. The day temperature may drop slightly in the northeastern and southern parts of the country. Night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

Rain forecast for three days
According to the weather forecast, there may be three rains in different parts of the country. It is said that two places each in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur and Sylhet divisions may experience temporary gusty winds or rain and thunder on Tuesday. Along with that, there may be scattered rain of hail at some places.
