Another 46 members of the Myanmar Border Guard Police entered Bangladesh

Another 46 members of the Myanmar Border Guard Police (BGP) have escaped through the Naikshyongchari border in Bandarban and esentered Bangladh. Currently, 260 members of the country’s army and BGP are staying in Bangladesh.

In the last 3 days, 80 Myanmar soldiers and BGP members have fled and taken refuge in Bangladesh.

Public relations officer of BGB headquarters Shariful Islam confirmed this information on Wednesday morning. He said that 46 more BGP members took refuge in Jamchari BOP responsible area of Naikshyongchari Battalion on Tuesday night.

Before this, another 330 people took refuge in Bangladesh in several rounds. They were sent back to Myanmar on February 15.
