Another 72-hour heat alert!!!

Moderate to severe heat wave is going on across the country. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Office has again extended the heat alert period.

According to the Met office, the heat wave may continue for the next 72 hours or three days from Thursday.

The Meteorological Office says that there is no chance of the heatwave going away due to rain across the country. However, it may rain temporarily in different parts of the country.

According to the information of the Meteorological Department, severe heat wave swept over Khulna division along with Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Rajshahi, Pabna, Faridpur and Gopalganj districts on Wednesday. Mild to moderate heat waves are passing over Mymensingh, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Chandpur, Noakhali, Feni and Bandarban districts along with Barisal division and remainder of Rangpur, Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions. It may continue.

On Wednesday, the highest temperature in the country was 41.6 degrees Celsius at Bagerhat in Mongla.
