As the series was tied at 1-1, the last match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka became the series decider. The host camp lost the toss and fielded in Chittagong on Monday morning. Although the previous two matches were day and night matches, this one started from 10 am.

At the end of 12 overs, Sri Lanka batted for 49 runs after losing 3 wickets. Kushal Mendis is batting for 22 runs and Asalanka is batting for 5 runs.

Taskin gave the hosts their first success by returning Nishanka early in the day. Nishanka scored just 1 run before returning as a victim of his full length ball LBW. The right-arm pacer returned Aviska Fernando in the fourth over. He scored only 4 runs and was caught by Mushfiqur by punching Taskin’s ball.

After the first power play, Mustafizur Rahman got success with the second ball after coming into the attack. The ball inside the cutter master touches the bat of Sadira Samaravikrama and the ball goes to Mushfiq. He returned with 14 runs off 15 balls with 2 fours.
