Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is doing a lot to make India play on Pakistani soil. PCB has announced that all the matches of India in the upcoming Champions Trophy will be held in Lahore so that the Indian spectators can easily visit Pakistan to watch the game.

The PCB has already decided the venue for the 2025 Champions Trophy and proposed it to the International Cricket Council (ICC). The Pakistan Cricket Board has proposed three venues. The three venues are Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.

Cricket related website Cricinfo reported that the draft that Pakistan sent to the ICC said that all India’s matches will be held in Lahore. Besides, the final match will also be held at this venue.

India did not play in Pakistan for almost 17 years due to security crisis. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are not agreeing to play the Champions Trophy in Pakistan this time.

So that India does not raise questions about security, Pakistan has offered to host the match in Lahore, a city close to the border of the two countries. Lahore is located in a place where the Wagah border between the two countries is very close. Indian visitors can easily visit Pakistan to watch the game at this venue.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi proposed to organize the tournament in the middle of February next year in the draft. A total of 8 countries including Bangladesh will participate in this event. Whether India will play or not, this is the biggest crisis now.

After 2008, India has not played any match on Pakistan soil. After the attack in Mumbai, India that year, the relationship between the two countries became bitter. After that, efforts were made to strengthen the relationship, but it did not materialize.
