After a continuous month of intense heat wave, the desired rain is finally falling in different parts of Dhaka. It feels a bit cold. It rained around 9pm on Thursday.

After that at 12:15 am, there was heavy rain in Mohammadpur, Mirpur, Baridhara, Kuril Bishwaroad area with strong winds. It rained in torrents for 40 minutes. At this time, the people of the capital trembled with the stormy wind as well as the roar of the clouds. This 40 minute rain made the weather cool.

At around 9 pm, there were reports of rain in several areas including Sadarghat, Islampur, Sutrapur in Old Dhaka of the capital.

Earlier, the sky of the capital was cloudy since evening. Sometimes lightning is also seen.

It also said that 1 to 3 mild (36 to 38 degrees Celsius) or moderate and 1 to 2 severe heatwaves may occur anywhere in the country. During this month, the day temperature may be higher than normal and the night temperature may be normal.
