Du Plessis played a devastating innings of 64 runs off 23 balls. He hit 3 sixes with 10 fours in the innings. However, Josh Little and Noor Ahmed’s excellent bowling saw Gujarat fight back.

Bengaluru lost 6 wickets to score 92 to 117 runs without a wicket. But Dinesh Karthik and Swapneel Singh did not let the team in danger. Karthik made 21 off 12 balls and Swapneel made an unbeaten 15 off 9 balls to leave Bangalore victorious.

Josh Little spent 45 runs but took 4 wickets alone. Noor Ahmed’s victim is two for 23 runs.

Earlier, Gujarat Titans were bowled out for 147 runs by the host bowlers at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

Bengaluru won the toss and sent Gujarat to bat. After losing the toss, Gujarat’s batsmen started losing wickets in front of Bengaluru bowlers. Wriddhiman Saha 1, Shubman Gill out for 2 runs. Sai Sudarshan scored 6 runs. Shah Rukh Khan scored the maximum 37 runs.

30 from David Miller’s bat and 35 from Rahul Tewatia’s bat. Rashid Khan scored 18 runs and Vijay Shankar scored 10 runs.

Mohammad Siraj, Jos Dayal and Vijaykumar Bashak took 2 wickets each for Bengaluru.
