In a joint meeting, the Prime Minister directed to drop the name “Sheikh Hasina” from the Khulna Medical College project. Later, Sheikh Hasina ordered not to give her name in any project in the future even though she had this name at the request of everyone present.

He gave this instruction at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) held on Thursday.

Senior Secretary of Planning Department Satyajit Karmakar gave these information in the briefing after the meeting.

Along with this, the prime minister also asked the money to be spent somewhere else instead of making a mural of Sheikh Hasina in the university premises. Apart from this, the Prime Minister has instructed to be very careful in the construction of any bridge in the future.

He said that the finance department will take action on whether government institutions including Chatak cement factory can be included in the stock market.
