Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the construction of the second satellite is going on in the country, when it is launched, we will get all the necessary information starting from the weather.

He said this at Tungipara in Gopalganj at 12 noon on Friday (May 10).

Sheikh Hasina said that we have opened the Employment Bank so that the youth can become self-reliant by taking loans without collateral. Instead of chasing a job, one can become an entrepreneur themselves.

Prime Minister said, we have launched universal pension scheme for all. If someone deposits 500 rupees then he will be given another 500 rupees by the government. Old Age Allowance, Widow Allowance has been introduced.

Sheikh Hasina said, cooperatives should be spread all over the country, our goal is to ensure food security and socio-economic development. Since coming to the government, the effort was to make the people of the country free from hunger and poverty.

Urging not to leave even an inch of land uncultivated, he said, he wants to increase production jointly with the people of all Bangladesh.

He said, today’s children and teenagers will be the soldiers of smart Bangladesh. Everyone should plant two or three trees to save the country from climate change.
