Veteran politician Haider Akbar Khan left the illusion of the world

Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) advisor Haider Akbar Khan Rono passed away. The veteran politician and writer breathed his last at the capital’s Health and Hope Hospital at half past two on Friday night.

It is known that he was suffering from various complications of respiratory system for a long time. According to the family, the body will be kept in Samrita Hospital morgue till Monday as the family members are out of the country.
When the relatives return to the country, the dead body of this veteran politician will be taken to the Shaheed Minar to pay respects to people from all walks of life. Then Hyder Akbar Khan Rano will be buried in the Banani graveyard next to the graves of his parents.

It should be noted that Haider Akbar Khan Rono, one of the organizers and leaders of the great liberation war, is the author of several books. This Marxist theorist was the general secretary of the East Pakistan Students Union. Hyder Akbar Khan Rano was born on 31 August 1942 in Calcutta, undivided India. His ancestral home is Barashula village of Narail.

Haider Akbar Khan left the party in 2010 due to disagreements, but joined the CPB after a long association with the Workers’ Party of Bangladesh. In 2012, he was made a presidium member of the party. After that he was elected advisor of CPB.
