The T20 World Cup is knocking at the door. This event will start on June 1, organized by the United States and the West Indies. In this, the participating teams are making their maximum preparations. Many are playing T20 series.

Meanwhile, IPL is going on in India. The league game is not over yet. All playoff matches are left. In the meantime, England cricketers are leaving the IPL. They have a four-match T20I series against Pakistan. The England Cricket Board (ECB) has also directed the cricketers to return home. Due to which the English cricketers have to leave the IPL under a kind of compulsion.

8 cricketers including Jos Buttler, Phil Salt, Will Jacks and Liam Livingstone will not be in the big matches of IPL. However, Indians are upset with such a decision of the English cricketers and the board. The country’s former cricketers and analysts feel that the IPL has suffered due to the departure of cricketers who did not play the full time in the tournament.

Ex-Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has even threatened the England cricketers. He says, if they want to leave without playing the whole tournament, they should not come to play IPL. The former Indian all-rounder made this harsh comment through this post on social media.

Irfan wrote in his post, ‘Either play the whole session, or don’t come to play IPL.’

There are still 4 matches left in the league season of IPL. Then there will be two qualifiers and one eliminator in the playoffs. The final match will be held in Chennai on May 26.
