Fire service and civil defense fully prepared to deal with Cyclone Rimal

Fire service and civil defense are fully prepared to deal with Cyclone Rimal. Local fire stations are alerting, alerting and alerting the public in disaster-prone areas. This awareness campaign is being run since noon on Saturday (May 25). Meanwhile, a monitoring cell has also been formed centrally in Dhaka to coordinate all activities related to the cyclone.

Apart from this, Khulna, Chittagong and Barisal divisional control rooms are monitoring this issue all the time. Departmental monitoring cells have been opened for these departments. The fire service is fully prepared to deal with any situation.

Brigadier General Director General of Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate. According to the instructions of Main Uddin, all the officers and employees of all the fire stations in the coastal areas have been canceled and put on alert duty.

Firefighting teams, search and rescue teams, first aid teams and water rescue teams are kept ready at each fire station to deal with emergency situations in disaster-prone areas. All equipment including ambulance, chain saw, hand saw, rotary rescue, spreader, megaphone, ramjack or air lifting bag, first aid box are kept ready along with required number of fire fighting and rescue equipment.

The fire service will be engaged in post-cyclone search and rescue work to make roads suitable for traffic. Trained volunteers of fire service will cooperate with them.

In these areas, fire services can be taken 24 hours a day and night for any work related to the protection of life and property. In addition to all the shelters, the general public can also take shelter in coastal fire stations if necessary.

All the departmental control rooms including fire service monitoring cell, central control room will be engaged in gathering news round the clock. Fire Service and Civil Defense have requested everyone to call the nearest fire station, divisional control room, central control room hotline number 16163 or central monitoring cell emergency mobile number 01730336699 for any emergency.
