All educational institutions in the cyclone-hit areas are closed on Monday

State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Mohibbur Rahman said that all educational institutions in the cyclone-hit areas will remain closed on Monday (May 27).

He gave this information in a press conference organized by the Directorate of Meteorology on Sunday (May 26) night.

Mohibbur Rahman said that all educational institutions were closed on Monday. However, the employees are directed to remain in the educational institution full-time.

He said that Cyclone Remal has started hitting the coastal areas of the country. Tides and winds can be high. We are still in a state of panic. The panic is still not over.

The state minister said there are 9,000 shelters, which are enough for the coastal people. Apart from this, educational institutions have been kept ready. The food arrived at the shelter a day ago.

Mohibbur Rahman also said that so far two deaths have been reported due to the cyclone.
