According to the forecast, there may be light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty wind at most places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, some places in Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions and one or two places in Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions. Along with this, there may be moderate to very heavy rainfall at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.
On the same day, mild heat wave is passing over Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Bogra, Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Jessore, Chuadanga and Kushtia districts and may continue.
Meteorologist Md. Shahinul Islam said that the day and night temperatures may decrease slightly in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and it may remain almost unchanged in other parts of the country.
He also said that the highest temperature in the country was 37.2 degrees Celsius in Pabna on Monday. From Monday morning to Tuesday morning, more or less rains have occurred in 8 divisions. The maximum rainfall of 115 mm was recorded in Joypurhat. Also, light to heavy rains have occurred in all 8 divisions, he said.
Forecasting the weather on Wednesday, he said that there may be light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds temporarily in most places of Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, many places of Rangpur, Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions and one or two places of Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions. Along with this, there may be moderate to heavy rainfall at some places in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.
