New Weather Forecast on Thunderstorms and Temperature

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted temporary gusty winds with thunderstorms and rain in a few places in the Sylhet division due to the seasonal low-pressure system.
According to the 72-hour weather forecast issued on Wednesday, March 19, the extension of the low-pressure system stretches across West Bengal and its adjoining areas, while the main seasonal low lies over the southern Bay of Bengal.
Under these conditions, the weather today (Wednesday) is expected to remain mostly dry with a partly cloudy sky. Daytime temperatures across the country may remain nearly unchanged, while nighttime temperatures could slightly decrease.
On Thursday, March 20, temporary gusty winds with thunderstorms and rain may occur in a few places in the Khulna division, while the rest of the country may experience dry weather with partly cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures may drop slightly, whereas nighttime temperatures could rise marginally.
On Friday, March 21, temporary gusty winds with thunderstorms and rain may occur in some areas of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, with the possibility of scattered hailstorms in some places. Elsewhere in the country, the weather is expected to remain dry with partly cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures may decrease by 1-2°C, while nighttime temperatures may increase by 1-2°C.
The extended five-day forecast suggests that rain or thunderstorms may occur in the early days of the period.
