Government employees are getting 5 consecutive days off on Eid

The holy Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in the country on June 17 (Monday). Government employees and bank employees are getting five consecutive days off on Eid. They can enjoy this holiday from 14 to 18 June. The moon of the holy month of Zilhaj was visible in the sky on Friday (June 7). As a result, the counting of the month of Zilhaj has started from Saturday (June 8). And the next 10th Zilhaj and accordingly the holy Eid will be celebrated on 17th June of the English month.

According to the official calendar, Eid is a public holiday. And two days before and after Eid are government holidays by executive order. Before this three-day holiday, government employees and bank employees will be able to spend a total of five days off on two weekly days on June 14 and 15 (Friday and Saturday). Also if one takes two days leave (June 19 and 20) then he can take 9 consecutive days leave.

Meanwhile, after the Eid holiday, the office hours are returning to 40 hours instead of 35 hours per week. At present the office hours are from 9 am to 4 pm, but after the Eid holidays, the office hours will be opened from 9 am to 5 pm from June 19.
