The Meteorological Department has forecast thundershowers in most parts of three divisions and some parts of five divisions of the country. This information was given in the forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Saturday.

It said the extension of low pressure extends from West Bengal to Northwest Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal.

In this situation, in most places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 9 am on Saturday; Some places of Dhaka, Rajshahi and Chittagong divisions and one or two places of Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience light to moderate rain with gusty winds or thundershowers.

Along with this, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions may experience moderate to very heavy rains. Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country during this time. Mild heatwave is moving over Gopalganj district including Khulna division and may continue. Excess water vapor may cause discomfort.
