The Meteorological Department said there is a possibility of thundershowers with a speed of 45-60 km per hour over eight regions of the country.
This information was given in the weather forecast for the inland river ports of the country from 5 am to 1 pm on Wednesday (June 19).
According to the forecast, rain/thunderstorm with gusty wind at 45-60 km per hour from south/south-east over Rangpur, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Barisal, Noakhali, Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar regions.
The river ports in these areas have been asked to show the number one warning signal.
