The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in seven divisions of the country for the next three days. At this time, landslides are also feared in some parts of the hilly areas of the country.

This information was given by the Meteorological Department in the warning of heavy rain on Thursday (June 27). This information has been given in the weather forecast for the next 72 hours from 10 am tomorrow Friday.

According to the warning, there may be heavy to very heavy rains at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Sylhet, Barisal and Chittagong divisions due to the active monsoon over Bangladesh. Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur in these areas during the next 72 hours from 10 am on Friday.

Due to heavy rainfall, there is also a risk of landslides in the hilly areas of Chittagong, Rangamati, Khagrachari and Bandarban districts.

Earlier, this Thursday morning, the Meteorological Office said that it is raining more or less all over the country. It rained all over the country in 24 hours from Wednesday morning to Thursday morning. During this period, the maximum rain fell in Dhaka, 64 mm. Khulna region received very light and light to heavy rains in other regions.
