Many people got down from the car and walked towards the destination.

Due to the busy first working day of the week, there was traffic jam in various parts of the capital since morning. In the afternoon, the students of Dhaka College protesting to cancel the quota system blocked the Science Lab intersection and the traffic jam increased. Then around 4 pm, the agitating students blocked the important Shahbag intersection of the capital, the nearby Hotel Intercontinental intersection and the Chankhanarpul intersection of Hanif flyover. Along with this, as the blockade at Science Lab junction continued, traffic flow was also disrupted on the road from Azimpur-Newmarket to Mirpur and Gabtali.

At the time of writing this report at around 4:30 pm, the students of Eden College occupied the Neelkhet junction, the students of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University blocked the Agargaon junction and the students of Kabi Nazrul College of Old Dhaka also took to the streets and started protesting.

In this, Tantibazar of Old Dhaka, Roy Saheb Bazar Mor, Bangshal, Gulistan, Purana Paltan, Shahbagh, Karwan Bazar, Farmgate, Agargaon, Mirpur’s Kazi Para, Shewra Para and Mirpur No. 10 Roundabout area, New Market, Science Lab, and many important roads of the capital are almost closed. is closed

Many have expressed their anger after sitting in the car for a long time in the traffic jam. A person named Redwan Ahmed wrote on Facebook, “How can a healthy person sit in one place for 4 hours continuously?” A person named Monalisa Mona wrote on Facebook around 6 pm, “I am still stuck in traffic in Dhanmondi since 2 pm. Is this something? I still don’t know when it will leave the road. How many more days will this continue?’

Due to blockade in Chankhanpur, Mayor Mohammad Hanif Udalsad has caused severe traffic jam. Even though the car has been running from two o’clock in the afternoon, the car has not been able to enter the capital since four o’clock in the afternoon.

Staying at Jatrabari intersection for about a quarter of an hour, it is seen that the buses coming from the southern region are stopping at the same place on the road. Disgruntled passengers walked off the bus. And the buses are stopped and the drivers and assistants are staying inside.

When asked the driver of a bus named Anik Paribahan on the Dhaka-Habiganj route, he said that it took him 45 minutes to cross the one and a half kilometer road. Now Jatrabari is sitting on the signal for 25 minutes.

Taslim Uddin from Bhairab was walking along the footpath of South Qutubkhali area, one kilometer away from Jatrabari junction. 20 kg sack of rice on his head. And another bag on the back.
