Secretary General of the party Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the delegation of BNP did not talk about the election in the meeting with the chief advisor of the interim government Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus. He said that they are giving time to the government to create proper environment for the election and hold the election.

The top level leaders of BNP led by Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir had an exchange of views with Interim Government Chief Advisor Dr. Yunus at Rashtriya Guest House Jamuna on Monday afternoon. They talked for about an hour.

A delegation led by Amir Shafiqur Rahman of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami went there while the BNP delegation was in Yamuna.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam told reporters, we did not talk about the election. As I said earlier, it will take some time to create the environment for elections. We are definitely giving them that time. We support them in all matters.

Mirza Fakhrul also said that we have said one thing very clearly, that the people should not be confused by the attempts of instability, attempts to create chaos and smoke of communalism in the country. So that the people help the government by keeping the religious harmony intact and the safety of the people intact. We fully support that.

He said the Chief Adviser had invited them for an exchange of views. The fascist government, which kills democracy, has deprived people of their rights by oppressing and torturing people for a long time. He sat down with BNP leaders for the first time after the government took charge in a free environment after getting rid of him through the student movement. They gave their opinion on what can be done in the current situation. The government has also given its opinion.

Mirza Fakhrul commented that ‘now I think it is the only duty of every patriot to help the government’. Unfortunately, those groups, who took away people’s rights, fled from here and settled in India, from there to destroy the victory of Bangladesh. plotting

Referring to Awami League, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul said, “Unfortunately, after so many murders and tortures, that party is again saying different things.” He thinks the government needs to take action in this regard. The government needs to talk to all parties, but not to the killer.
