Every moment now matters before the nation: Salahuddin Ahmed

BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed said that every moment is important in front of Jati. We have no time to waste here. So we think that the mandate given by the interim government through this bloody mass revolution of the nation, the entire nation is looking up to them.

He said these things to the media after the meeting of Chief Adviser Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus with BNP leaders at Chief Adviser’s residence Yamuna on Monday at 4 pm.

Regarding the discussion of the meeting, Salahuddin Ahmed said that he has taken an opinion on the National Mourning Day, Mourning Day holiday. We also gave Take the opinion of other parties. Now the government will decide on this. What is important to us is that the people want to build Bangladesh as a beautiful democratic state through this uprising of students.

He said, there are definitely some important reforms. If this government does not make these reforms, the nation will have to wait for many more years. Democratic reform, reform of the state structure, reconstruction of democratic institutions, constitutional reform should be done. Once democratic institutions are in place, future generations will never have to struggle with them. As such they will take decisions.

Salahuddin said, the chief adviser said in the meeting – you will cooperate with us. We have said – we will cooperate hundred percent. You go ahead.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Zamir Uddin Sarkar, Mirza Abbas, Dr Abdul Moin Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Begum Selima Rahman were present in the meeting.
