BNP stands by the families of those who died in student movement

BNP stands by the families of those killed in the anti-discrimination student movement. Committees have been formed across the country for this. They consoled the families and relatives of the deceased along with visiting their graves in different districts and upazilas and assured them of being by their side. The party has been carrying out this program for the last three days.

In the meantime, BNP leaders visited the grave of Arifur Rahman Russell Talukder, the son of Barisal Bakerganj who was shot dead in Dhaka during the anti-discrimination student movement and the joint convener of Dhaka Metropolitan East Chhatra Dal, under the guidance of the acting chairman of the party, Tariq Rahman. BNP Joint Secretary General Advocate Abdus Salam Azad met his bereaved family. On Tuesday, he went to Russell Talukdar’s house with local leaders and activists.

Ziaur Rahman Foundation stands by the injured in the anti-discrimination student movement at Neurosciences Hospital in the capital. Yesterday afternoon, under the leadership of Dr. Shah Muhammad Aman Ullah, member of the working committee of the foundation and convenor of the rehabilitation committee, the concerned medical leaders visited the various wards of the hospital and talked to the injured. Chairman of Ziaur Rahman Foundation Tariq Rahman and his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman assured all kinds of cooperation to the injured.

Dr. Shah Muhammad Aman Ullah led by Dr. Jalaluddin Muhammad Rumi, Ophthalmologist Dr. Syed Mehbubul Qadir, Dr. Rustum Ali Madhu, Dr. Bayezid, Dr. Ruhul Moktadir Ranju, Dr. A ZM Saifuddin Babu, Dr. Ashraful Haque, Dr. Mohammad Monir Hossain, Dr. Imran Sarkar, Dr. Sajid Imtiaz, Dr. RK Hasan and others were present.

The local BNP leaders and activists went to the houses of Junayed Bhuiyan of Raipura Upazila of Narsingdi, who died in the anti-discrimination student movement yesterday, who were killed, injured, freed from prison and those who were under prosecution. At this time, engineer Ashraf Uddin Bakul, co-editor of science and technology affairs of the team, provided financial support on behalf of Tariq Rahman.
