Investigation started against 10 people including Sheikh Hasina for crimes against humanity including murder

An investigation has started against 10 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who were charged with crimes against humanity including murder, genocide, torture and other crimes committed during the anti-discrimination student movement from July 15 to August 5. The lawyer of Siam’s father, accused of genocide, confirmed the matter to the media.

The lawyer of the deceased Siam’s father said that the investigation started on Wednesday night. Earlier, the investigating agency accepted the complaint as the registrar. He also confirmed that the progress report of this investigation will be communicated to the complainants within seven days.

An application has been made to the investigation agency of the International Criminal Tribunal against 10 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on charges of genocide and crimes against humanity. Md Bulbul Kabir, the father of Arif Ahmed Siam, a class nine student of Savar, who died in the quota reform movement on Wednesday, filed this application. In the petition, July 15 to August 5 was mentioned as the date of incident. Apart from this, those who were injured during this time and died later on at various dates will be covered under this. The whole of Bangladesh has been mentioned as the place of the incident.

The nature of the crime is said to be, under the direction and plan of the accused nos. one to nine, the other accused indiscriminately fired with native and firearms and killed the general unarmed student crowd of anti-discrimination students with a view to their total or partial extermination, the crime of committing genocide and crimes against humanity.
