Bangladesh Railway started selling train tickets in advance from March 24 on Eid day on April 10. In line with that, advance ticket sales for April 7 have started on Thursday (March 28).

Western train tickets are on sale from 8 am on this day. Eastern train tickets will be sold from 2 pm onwards. This time the number of outbound tickets from Dhaka in intercity trains including specials is 33 thousand 500.

Earlier, April 3 tickets went on sale on March 24, April 4 tickets on March 25 and April 5 tickets on March 26 and April 6 tickets on March 27.

Apart from this, Railways will sell tickets for April 8 on March 29, April 9 tickets on March 30 and April 10, 11 and 12 depending on moon sighting.

This time 100% tickets are being sold online. However, 25 percent of the tickets will be available from the originating station before the start of the journey on the request of the passengers.
