According to the Meteorological Office, heavy (44-88 mm/24 hours) to very heavy (289 mm/24 hours) rainfall will occur in some parts of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions from 10 am on Thursday in the next 48 hours. can Apart from this, due to heavy rainfall, there is a risk of landslides in some parts of the hilly areas of Chittagong division.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday (August 21), the forecast of the Meteorological Office said that light to moderate rain with temporary gusts or gusty winds will occur in most parts of Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and in many parts of Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions in the next 24 hours from 6 pm on Wednesday (August 21). Or there may be rain with thunder. Also, there may be moderate to very heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

From Thursday (August 22) 6:00 pm, in the next 24 hours, most places of Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet Divisions and many places of Mymensingh, Dhaka, Rangpur and Rajshahi Divisions may experience light to moderate rain or thunder with temporary gusty winds. Also, there may be moderate to very heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

Apart from this, there may be light to moderate rain or thunder with gusty wind in many places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 6:00 pm tomorrow (August 23). Also, there may be moderate to very heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.

The forecast said that the rainfall trend may ease towards the end of the extended five days.
