Staff Reporter: Barrister Saifur Rahman, Vice Chairman of the Habibur Rahman Habib Memorial Trust in Old Dhaka, has departed for Singapore to attend the Singapore Convention Week (SC Week).

On Sunday, August 25th, Barrister Saifur Rahman left Dhaka for Singapore, where he will participate in the Singapore Convention Week 2024, which is being held at the Shangri-La Hotel from August 26th to August 30th. The event focuses on dispute resolution, arbitration, mediation, and litigation.

Barrister Saifur Rahman was born into a distinguished Muslim family in the Nawab Bari area of Islampur, Old Dhaka. He is actively involved in various social and non-political organizations, dedicating his efforts to community service.

Since 2019, the Singapore Convention Week (SC Week) has been a signature event in Singapore, concentrating on dispute resolution, arbitration, mediation, and related legal matters.

Barrister Saifur Rahman is also the younger brother of Md. Mostafizur Rahman Mostak, Vice President of the Old Dhaka Journalists’ Forum.
