There may be stormy rain in one or two places in the four divisions of the country including Dhaka on Saturday. The Meteorological Department said that the day and night temperatures may increase.

It rained in different parts of the country on Friday. Nikli received the highest rainfall of 62 mm in 24 hours from 6 am on Friday to 6 am on Saturday. During this time, 2 mm of rain fell in Ishwardi, 7 mm in Srimangal, 1 mm in Feni, 10 mm in Kumarkhali and 6 mm in Barisal, the Meteorological Department said.

It rained in Dhaka last night. According to the Meteorological Department, 17 mm of rain has fallen in Dhaka.

On Friday, the highest temperature in the country was 35.2 degrees Celsius in Mongla. On Saturday morning, the lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 20.3 degrees Celsius at Nikli.

Meteorologist Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallick said in the weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9:00 am on Saturday, there may be temporary gusts of wind or rain with thunder in one or two places in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky. Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country during this time.

On Sunday, there may be rain or thunder with temporary gusts or gusty winds at two places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. Day temperature will be 1 to 2 degree Celsius and night temperature may rise slightly across the country.

On Monday, two or two places of Sylhet division may receive temporary gusts of rain or thundershowers. Day temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country and night temperatures may drop slightly, the weather department has predicted.
