A drone strike targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in the northern city of Caesarea on Saturday, October 19, according to his spokesperson. Netanyahu was not present at the time, and no injuries were reported.

Earlier, the Israeli military had confirmed that a drone was launched from Lebanon and struck a building, though it had not initially specified which building. Israeli forces also intercepted two additional drones that entered Israeli airspace.

Emergency services and police reported hearing an explosion in Caesarea, where Netanyahu has a vacation residence. No casualties were reported.

So far, Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militant group in Lebanon, or any other group has not claimed responsibility for the attack. Hezbollah has been engaged in clashes with Israel since October.
