In Chittagong city, a case has been filed against 19 people, with ISKCON Chittagong Division’s organizational secretary Chandan Kumar Dhar, also known as Chimoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, named as the primary accused. The case includes charges of sedition, following an incident where a saffron flag, associated with Hindutva, was raised over the national flag at the Shadhinota Stambha (Independence Monument) at the New Market intersection. Kotwali police have already arrested two of the accused in connection with the incident.
