As heat rises, heatwaves can spread further.

It is raining in different parts of the country and the heat is increasing. In the meantime, the temperature has increased and a mild heat wave has started in the two regions.

 

The Meteorological Department has predicted that the daytime temperature will rise further on Monday (April 1). Therefore, heat wave can increase the scope of heat wave.

Meteorologists said that the temperature may continue to rise in the coming days.

On Sunday, the highest temperature in the country was 37.2 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi. The maximum temperature in Dhaka was 32.8 degrees Celsius.

The sky of Dhaka has been sunny since Monday morning. It is getting hot in Dhaka.

On Sunday, except for Khulna, it rained more or less in all the divisions. Sylhet received the highest rainfall of 88 mm. According to the Meteorological Department, 5 mm of rain has fallen in Dhaka.

Meteorologist Md. Omar Farooq said that from 9 am on Monday, in the next 24 hours, temporary gusts of rain or thunder may occur in two places of Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, as well as scattered hailstones at some places. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky. During this time, day temperature may increase slightly and night temperature may decrease slightly across the country.

A mild heatwave is moving over Rajshahi and Pabna regions and may spread, he said.
