Bangladesh Railway has canceled the weekly closure of two trains on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. Sonar Bangla is scheduled to depart from Chittagong to Dhaka on Tuesday on the pre-scheduled weekly closure day and Akoost Express from Dhaka to Noakhali.

 

This was confirmed by Aminul Islam, Deputy Director of Public Relations, Eastern Railway.

He said that Tuesday was an off-day for both trains. It has been withdrawn. Passengers can collect general tickets online and from the counter till departure.

 

Sonar Bangla will leave from Chittagong at 5:30 pm and Coastal Express from Dhaka at 3:10 pm.
