The Indian women’s cricket team is coming to Bangladesh on April 23 to play a five-match T20 series. The two countries have organized the series as a preparation for the Women’s T20 World Cup to be held in September-October.
All the matches of the series will be played at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The first three matches will be day and night. These matches will start at 6:30 pm at Sylhet’s main stadium. And the remaining two matches will start at 2 pm, at the outer venue of Sylhet.
Bangladesh women’s team will face Indians in the first match on April 28. The remaining matches will be on April 30 and May 2, 6, 24.
India is visiting Bangladesh for the second time in the last two years, and the third visit in all.
India was playing a three-match ODI and T20I series against Bangladesh in the last 2023 tour. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur accused the umpire of bias in the last ODI. That match was drawn; The series ended in a 1-1 tie.
