To check on the health of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, Professor Asif Nazrul, the Legal, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser to the interim government, visited Evercare Hospital in Dhaka late at night.

On Friday (November 28), Nazrul was accompanied by his special assistant Monir Haidar. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other party leaders were also present at the hospital.

Begum Khaleda Zia is currently under close observation in the hospital’s CCU by a medical board. These details were shared by Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP media cell, after leaving the hospital. Earlier on Friday, Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus expressed concern over her health in a statement sent to the media.

Dr. Yunus is regularly monitoring Begum Khaleda Zia’s medical progress and has instructed all relevant personnel to ensure that she receives every necessary medical support. The Chief Adviser also prayed for her speedy recovery and urged the nation to keep her in their thoughts.
