Law Adviser Asif Nazrul has called on the younger generation to think like the warriors of the July uprising, prioritizing their country above personal interests. Speaking at the third convocation ceremony of Central Women’s University held at the Officers Club in Dhaka on Saturday, April 26, he emphasized that it is such revolutionary movements, like the July uprising, that bring down oppressive rulers and give birth to new states. He urged students to contribute to their homeland, even if they pursue education abroad. Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan also addressed the ceremony, highlighting the critical role the new generation must play in protecting the country’s environment, biodiversity, and managing the risks posed by climate change through sustainable practices. She introduced the concept of ecofeminism, describing it as a philosophy intertwining nature conservation with women's liberation, and urged youth to work for a greener, sustainable, and humane future. Additionally, Education Adviser Dr. C.R. Abrar stressed the importance of young people evolving from being subjects deprived of rights to becoming empowered citizens, marking their essential role in nation-building.
