BNP Secretary General Fakhrul leaves hospital in stable condition

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has returned home from the hospital after showing improvement in his health.
On Thursday (March 6) afternoon, he was discharged from United Hospital in Dhaka and returned to his residence in Gulshan, according to BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan.
He stated that Mirza Fakhrul arrived home around 1 PM and is expected to attend an iftar event hosted by the party at a hotel in the capital in honor of diplomats later in the evening.
Earlier, on Sunday (March 2) morning, Mirza Fakhrul was admitted to United Hospital after suddenly falling ill. Shairul Kabir Khan later mentioned that his health issues began after attending a book launch event at Suhrawardy Udyan during the book fair, where excessive dust made him feel unwell. Following a doctor’s advice, he was hospitalized on Sunday.
