After completing her medical treatment, BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia returned to the country from London on May 6, after a four-month stay abroad. Following her return, she has been resting at home. Feeling much better now, she plans to attend a family gathering at the residence of her younger brother, Shamim Iskander, who lives in Gulshan. This information was confirmed by Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP media cell.
Previously, on May 6, after a long medical stay, Khaleda Zia was welcomed by her family. During her stay in London, she was accompanied by her daughters-in-law, Zubaida Rahman and Syeda Sharmila Rahman. Her return to the country marked a significant moment for her supporters, and many are eagerly awaiting her involvement in the party’s activities.
