4 lakh 20 thousand dollars in trading sector, 2 lakh 30 thousand dollars in textile sector, 2 lakh dollars in metal and machinery sector, 80 thousand dollars in other production sector, 70 thousand dollars in service sector.

According to the report, Bangladesh is proceeding very cautiously in terms of foreign investment. In September 2015, the government amended the 1947 Act by adding a condition allowing foreign investment. Investment abroad can only be taken if there is sufficient dollar inflow against export earnings. At present, investments from Bangladesh have gone to more than 22 countries under that law.
