A young man entered the Bangladesh Bank with a weapon on Thursday amidst the prevailing unstable situation in the country. His name is Kamruzzaman Saidi Sohag. It is reported that he was released after depositing the weapon as there were no policemen at the police station. A group of students who were responsible for traffic on the road arrested the young man with a bag of money in the car on Wednesday on the previous day. He was later handed over to the army and released after interrogation.
Central Bank officials said that Bangladesh Bank is a KPI (Key Infrastructure) institution. It is forbidden to enter such establishments with weapons. However, if security companies need to enter with weapons for special needs including money transportation, permission from the relevant authorities is required. However, he tried to enter the Governor's House on Thursday without permission. He also had an entry pass. He was detained by the people of the securities company in charge of security. After being detained for a while and questioned, the weapon was confiscated and he was released. He could not be taken to the police station as there was no police.

Shamimur Rahman told reporters that a young man named Kamruzzaman Saidi Sohag tried to enter Bangladesh Bank illegally with weapons. It is a KPI affiliated organization. Here is the vault.
