Staff Correspondent: To keep pace with the global developments, “Padma Entrepreneur Foundation” is actively working to break away from the conventional activities of NGOs, organizations, and foundations scattered across Bangladesh. Their goal is to contribute to the country’s progress by equipping new and existing entrepreneurs with the necessary skills through initiatives like the “Digital Knowledge Sharing Workshop” project.

Bagerhat, a district rich in history and heritage, witnessed a promising event on Tuesday at 4 PM in Alapon Restaurant, located near the Muniganj Bridge in Bagerhat Sadar Upazila. The workshop was designed to help aspiring young entrepreneurs develop new business ventures and effectively manage and expand their businesses using the right strategies and techniques.

Padma Entrepreneur Foundation organized this free training session to empower entrepreneurs with digital knowledge and provided them with certificates upon completion. The workshop was led by Asif Nawaz, COO of the renowned company eBiz Digital. The event saw the participation of 30 entrepreneurs from Bagerhat district, nearby upazilas, and remote regions, who were trained by the foundation.

In addition to the training, certificates were distributed to the participants by Padma Entrepreneur Foundation. The event was attended by the organization’s Treasurer, Ikramul Haque Bhuiyan, General Secretary, Selim Mahmud, and the Chairman of the foundation, Md. Moniruzzaman Apurba, who also planned and hosted the event.

During the event, the Chairman of Padma Entrepreneur Foundation emphasized that there are many educated and talented young individuals in the country. However, due to the limited job opportunities compared to the demand, a significant number of them aspire to start their own businesses. Unfortunately, many of them lack the necessary guidance, information, advice, or training to take the leap. Some individuals who manage to launch their ventures often struggle to keep up with global standards due to the lack of proper direction, business planning, and knowledge about expanding their operations.

To address these challenges, Padma Entrepreneur Foundation has introduced the “Digital Knowledge Sharing Workshop” specifically for such talented young entrepreneurs. The Chairman expressed his belief that this training will provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs from remote areas to develop and showcase their talents. The foundation’s mission is to empower the country’s educated and talented youth to become self-reliant. To achieve this goal, they have already started implementing training programs across the country and plan to extend these initiatives to Dhaka and all 64 districts and upazilas in due course.

Furthermore, the organization is planning additional projects to support entrepreneurs in the future. The Chairman assured that Padma Entrepreneur Foundation will continue to provide guidance and support to entrepreneurs in expanding their businesses through ongoing training and mentorship programs.
