During his visit to Bangkok for the BIMSTEC Summit, Interim Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus met with several prominent figures from Thailand on Friday, April 4, during a breakfast session. The meeting was confirmed by his press wing and attended by Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Touhid Hossain along with other members of the Bangladesh delegation.
Dr. Yunus had arrived in the Thai capital on Thursday, April 3, at noon local time, to participate in the sixth BIMSTEC Summit, which brought together top leaders from South Asia.
Later today, he is scheduled to address the summit and hold a bilateral meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the afternoon. The three-day BIMSTEC Summit is being held in Bangkok from April 2 to 4.
