The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main stock market, is experiencing an upward trend in indices on Thursday, February 13, the last trading day of the week. Most company shares have shown price increases, according to DSE sources.
As of 12 PM, within the first two hours of trading, the DSEX, the DSE’s benchmark index, rose by 13.44 points to reach 5,203. The Shariah Index (DSES) gained 4.67 points, standing at 1,157, while the DS-30 Index increased by 4.66 points to 1,918.
During this period, a total of shares and units worth BDT 177.49 crore were traded. Out of the traded companies, 184 saw price increases, 127 experienced declines, and 78 remained unchanged.
