A fire broke out at a café in Jahangir Tower, located in the capital's Karwan Bazar, on Saturday night. The fire was brought under control within half an hour. Following the incident, instructions were issued to inspect the building's fire safety measures.

DNCC Administrator Mohammad Ejaz directed the relevant officials to take necessary actions tonight. He also instructed an investigation into whether adequate fire safety measures were in place at the building and the restaurant. Additionally, starting Sunday, inspections will be conducted across restaurants in DNCC's jurisdiction, including Karwan Bazar, to ensure proper fire safety compliance.
