Service activities have started in 29 police stations of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). On Friday, the policemen joined their duty guarding the army personnel.

Police stations that were not attacked or less damaged. The operation has started today in those police stations. These include- Gulshan, Tejgaon, Ramna, Kalabagan, Dhanmondi, Hazaribagh, Kotwali, Chawkbazar, Sutrapur, Demra, Gendaria, Motijheel, Sabujbagh, Shahjahanpur, Sherbangla Nagar, Hatirjheel, Shah Ali, Kafrul, Bhashantek, Darussalam, Rupnagar, Cantonment, Banani, Uttara Paschim, Uttarkhan and Airport Police Stations.

Meanwhile, even though the policemen came to the police station where the police station was attacked, vandalized and set on fire, the operation did not start. As a result, the activities of 21 police stations of DMP have not started.

SI Mamun Miah of Gulshan police station said that till 12 noon a GD was conducted in the police station in a family incident.
