18 lakh people affected by floods, one person died

89 thousand 363 families in 43 upazilas of these six districts of Comilla, Feni, Chittagong, Khagrachari, Noakhali and Balbi Bazar are water bound. According to the information of the Chief Adviser’s Office, 17 lakh 96 thousand 248 people have been affected by floods in six districts. One person died in Phulgazi in Feni district after drowning in flood water. It was reported through media that army, navy and anti-discrimination student movement coordinated several teams to help the flood affected areas.

A total of 1,359 shelters have been opened by the Head of Shelter for water-logged, affected people and a total of 17,882 people and 3,486 cattle have been sheltered in the shelters.

309 medical teams worked to provide treatment. The Office of the Chief Adviser has informed that there is sufficient relief stock in stock. Asked to contact 0255101115 for any help regarding flood information.
